Zeyi

For the longest time, Zeyi has been having the same dream. In this dream he is floating in space, outside of Sornieth, looking out on the world from above. And just above the planet, he sees a glowing hole of some sort. A portal maybe? Or maybe another world in its entirety. Zeyi doesn’t know what it is or what it could possibly mean. He’s not very good at these kinds of things. But, he does want to know what it is or what it means. So, for the last seasons, he has been traveling. Finding other dragons that might help him find an answer. Maybe even Beastclans that might help him.

He has not found anybody yet.

But Zeyi’s current destination is a good one. A hidden flock of harpies that supposedly has an elder who specializes in dreams. A perfect opportunity to learn more about his dream! Zeyi is almost there, and he has practiced his diplomacy quite well, but still… He is a Mirror after all. So he is quite nervous. Moreover, all the dragons he has spoken to so far have told him that the flock is quite helpful and quite open to talk to dragons. As long as they bring an offering. Nobody told Zeyi what exactly he had to offer though, so he is bringing them a full pack of food. All kinds of food, some plants, some insects, some fish, even some meat that Zeyi has not eaten yet. Zeyi doesn’t really know what harpies eat… But something in his pack should appeal to them, right? And getting food is always good.

When Zeyi reaches the flock, however, they are not interested in his food. They thank him for it, but they lead him to their elder without eating anything. Maybe they will save it for later? That would be smart, a feast for the entire flock maybe. And despite the offering not being received as he thought, at least the elder is willing to talk to Zeyi. Zeyi sits down with the elder and tells them about his dream. About the glowing portal surrounded by clouds that he sees every night. The elder agrees that it is curious and wants to help, but for real knowledge like that, Zeyi has to give them his dreams. So that’s the real offer… He wants to know though. He really wants to know. So Zeyi agrees.

All of his dreams are gone now.
