Although she was born away from any substantial body of water, Arkolymis had always been drawn to it. The way the water rippled and shimmered under the light had always captivated her. As a young hatchling, she was always frolicking by any stream or pond or puddle she could find. Her parents lost her frequently due to how often she would wander away in search for water, but it was always easy to find her.

One day when Arkolymis was an adolescent, she ventured into the capital and came across a fishing competition. She had never fished before, but the activity greatly intrigued her, and it was by the water. What's not to love? Despite having no experience, she participated and ended up destroying the competition. She was light and agile, and her talons were the perfect tool for snatching up fish. Although she received a prize from winning, she couldn't care less. She had found something much more valuable: a hobby that would soon become her trade.

Arkolymis is now the head fisher of her clan. She knows every good body of water, especially ones teeming with fish. Her charisma and confidence makes her a wonderful teacher, and Arkolymis is happy to teach the younger members of her clan how to fish.
