"I don't like you but I'm not going to kick you while you're down."
• He may look like his intimidating dad but the facts are that Beowulf has a much gentler, albeit secret, soft-side. It's not just reserved for his sister either.
• Beowulf puts up with a lot. He knows his sister can be insufferable but he loves her no matter what. He doesn't like Karma but also sees she's hiding a lot of trauma and tends to lash out because of it. He even loves his dad truly he does but his methods are not ones that his son prefers. Also Vera is a pain, as always.
• He is a lot more observant than others see him as. He sees the pressure put on his sister. The ever-growing issues with the Chemthurgy Virus. The way Karma always clams up at the mention of her sister, who has been spotted with the Night Beasts. He also sees the tensions growing in the Helix District and worries about the power vacuum that might show up one day.
• This next part surprises everyone but he loves to cook and he's very good at it. The Helix District is not known for having top quality ingredients but he makes do.
