Biography
Aurea was found by Tordin in an old shipwreck off the coast of the Starfall Isles. A couple of years after Rosmeri's strange adoption, the family went on a shorter route along Starfall's coast, stopping at a few smaller cities and towns. Tordin had noticed Rosmeri acting strange, staring at the water and speaking to thin air. When he went to talk to his husband about it, Mramza reported feeling some sort of strange, old power in the area. They spoke to their crew, and everyone agreed - either they saw someone else acting strange, or felt something off themselves. A handful of Water dragons and Maren offered to go check, because everyone knew that weird things meant possible treasure.
The crew thankfully survived, having only suffered some jump scares and bruises. They reported finding nothing but an old, tarnished golden statue down there. Tordin had them bring it onboard, and stated that they'd look for leads in the nearby towns, and if they had nothing by the time to got home, they'd discuss things from there. No hints or leads were found by anyone, most people not even knowing there was a shipwreck there. As they headed home, the crew agreed to hand over the statue to city authorities, and wipe their hands of it all.
The statue was handed over with little fuss, other than mild confusion, that seems to be the end of this story. The statue was placed in the town's small museum, and sometimes eager, small-time researchers sniff around, but nothing's come of it... yet.
