Delyth

When you've got eight hatchlings huddled together to survive, they need to eat. Delyth took it upon herself to get food, which also meant taste-testing a lot of plants and bugs to make sure they were edible for everyone else. To say she's developed a tolerance for the less inedible foods is an understatement. But one dragon couldn't eat any of it, and since she was so young she thought the wildclaw was being picky, but seeing him slowly wither away, the pressure of the rest of their mini clan to find meat, had her go out and hunt for it.
Larger animals were harder to hung than plants or insects, lizards were so fast, and fish slipped from her grasp. She only caught a bird because she threw a rock at it out of anger, it was something. She learned how sharp a wildclaw's teeth were, how they were meant for meat.

She started making nets to hunt for fish, to hunt for birds, small ditch traps for lizards and other smaller ground-dwelling creatures.

She's friends with the wildclaw now, and she enjoys the hunt of meat, but she makes sure the rest of the stocks are filled.
