Sono's eyesight is very poor, so with his eyes almost always closed, he has to trust his other senses, but he doesn't... at all. The problem is, he is never sure if he's asleep or not. The gift of seeing divinations through dreams is generally considered a blessing, but it sure happened to the wrong dragon. Sono does hate it.
He sees various events and maybe even different worlds, but all he really wants is for all of this to stop. Reality he feels is always starkly different, and that makes him anxious. He doesn't need this knowledge - Sono just wishes to be as carefree as dragons who are not knowing. He keeps pondering - should he do something to prevent his visions from happening? Should he share them to bring them to life? Sono only knows that he's tired of this. But him trying to rest would only result in more dreams and more crippling thoughts. In the end, he would wake up even more weary than before.
He prefers moving slowly or staying still to save his energy. Healers of the clan think his health is weak as he's mostly motionless and unemotional, and Sono agrees - he knows he might be used as fortune teller if he uncovers his abilities, and he would despise that. He does like all the herbs and medicine they are offering him, too - effects of those shake him up harshly and help him to stay attached to this reality.
