Nedus

A feisty women with a temper to match. She grew up treated as royalty, her previous clan having worshiped her every move. She didn't take to kindly to the change of scenery when her clan was wiped out in a rough battle. She wasn't used to having to fight for her survival, the mere idea of catching her own food was a foreign concept. She was found by Matthin during one of his patrols, lost and alone in the dangerous woods. He brought her back and she was nursed back to health.

Despite looking as is she was made of gold, she is actually quite poor. More of a celebrity amongst the empire rather then a funder. When she was younger she got married to the cowardly Green. She was entranced by his sparkling nature. She later found out that he was nothing but a cheat, who hid behind prestige to escape his responsibilities. He reminded her too much of herself.

She had two children with him, Simoeis and Darter, of whomst she loves dearly. She can't seem to stay with one man though, always dancing between partners, running away if they ever got to serious.

In reality, she loves Recliff. She admires her adventurous nature and ability to put up with Green. She struggles to be around her though, she's younger then her own children! How could that man marry someone younger then his own daughter? What right does she think she has to call them HER young?
