Log 1: A mechanized creation. Unsure if this even still a dragon. It is only know that it's wings have actual flesh. It was created with the purpose of excavation, odd that it would be in the form of a male Pearlcatcher and not something like a Ridgeback or Guardian. Pearlcatchers aren't known for their hardiness. Uses a pickaxe and large, bulky claws for excavation. Displays minimal free will but an uncanny ability to follow voice commands. It also has movement similar to a living dragon, being adaptive and balanced. It also still possesses a pearl. Thus far not proven to bleed.
Log 2: Creator is unknown as of right now. However it is not difficult to replicate this machinery; a momentary shutdown can be easily repaired, or inflicted. There is a point at the base of each wing and hip that can be easily interrupted by minimal forms of lightning magic, or a trusty poke with a metal object. Poking with metal object not recommended as this scratches the mechanism and may cause damage to parts not easily replaced. Log 3: Name was discovered on left side of chest segment, labeled "Afternoon, Dragon 554". It is unknown if this was meant to be a message addressed to a dragon known as "554", or if this is a dragon known as "554" and it's nickname is "Afternoon", or if this a dragon named "Afternoon" with a given ID of 554. We refer to it as "Afternoon" for simplicity's sake. Log 4: It is good at it's job as an excavator, but it's obedience to voice commands makes it good for other physical labor as well. It makes a great assistant for other members and is open to anybody's use so long as they promise not to break it. It is highly resistant to physical damage but is not bulletproof. Log 5: I was hoping I'd be able to use this dragon as a vessel. It's technology is mechanical and primitive, therefore this is ineffective. I question the ethics of using this dragon as a tool. I also question the ethics of ridding members of an effective tool that makes their lives far easier in the name of questionable ethics. It seems ultimately unbothered. I will, henceforth, be unbothered. |
