Crayon has existed for about as long as dragons as a species. It’s been so long even they don’t remember where they came from or how they got to where they are now. They live in the Pavilion of Dreams, a mysterious structure existing between dimensions. They watch over the hopes and dreams of all of Sornieth, nurturing them with the hope of them being realized. They lived alone for many centuries, before the Lightweaver created a companion for them. Crayon took it upon themself to teach Pen all about the pavilion and their job. However, they don’t allow Pen to go near the prison out of fear that something would happen to him. Much to Pen's dismay.
