Biography
]UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Kintsugi’s Clan had left her behind once again, her injuries suffered during a rough hunt would slow her down, but as they are Mirrors, the whole pack would never accomodate such a situation.
It was not a new event, since her egg had cracked during an earthshaking event in her parents‘ nest, she had had scars and cracks along her skin before she even hatched. These greatly affected her agility, speed and especially her stamina. Runt had been the name she had heard most often, and if she was honest, she could not remember if she had ever had another. She would join a new pack by chance, hunt and feed and run and bask in the light of company, until inevitably the pack would either break apart on ist‘ own or her condition became to much to keep up with it. During the latter and more common events, more often than not dragons of different breeds and clans would help her out, and though she could never admit it, those times felt better, felt right.
But she was a Mirror and as such her purpose was, always was and had to be, the hunt, the fight, the constant move.
Until that one time she crossed the path of a pair of Snappers. Moving at a slower pace she could stride along them and they told her stories, tales of old, knowledge oft he new age, wisdoms of realms beyond. One such conversation nudged her into thoughts she had often had but blocked out as soon as they appeared. Maybe her purpose was different from what she had thought, since it seemed obvious that her packs‘ lifestyle was not one she appeared to be built for. Maybe, just maybe, she was enough, even if she was different.
Quote:
Igustnik had no name of his own until he met Kintsugi. When they met, he was silent, as he had been for the years that came before, without any contact aside from the prey he caught and the bones of his clan, dead before his time.
She wrote her name into the sand of the riverbank. Opposite of her, he sat, just like the past 5 nights, amidst the fireflies and the croaking coming from the stream.
