A powerful and ferocious dragon is slain in an enchanted wood. As the mighty creatures blood pours to the ground and seeps under the earth, it streams into an acorn which was buried below the dragons body. The blood is drawn to this magically imbued seed and quick grows at an incredible rate. It continues to expand until it reaches the size of a wine barrel. Everything around the seed begins to die as it absorbs the nutrients from the surrounding flora to help in its growth. After it stops progressing in size, the shell of the acorn cracks open, revealing the sprout within. The sprout hastily pushes it’s way out of the soil, exploding in size as it breaks the surface. As the sprout spirals upwards it creates several branches from it’s base. It now resembles a tree, an oddly shaped tree at that. In fact one may say it almost looks like a dragon. They would be correct in saying so. The four branches on the right side of the tree begin to form arms and legs while the pair of branches on the left side fan out and move as well. Unlike the other branches, these two have grown leaves and they too begin to grow. However, as they grow they meld into each other creating a type of webbing. The wings of the draconic-tree are now complete and it’s not long before the head and body follow suit. A deep roar echoes from the amalgamated creature as it pulls the reminder of its form from the earth. Now on all fours, it shakes the stiffness from its new frame and takes in a deep refreshing breath. It growls deeply as it exhales. Anger begins to fills its mind and body. It had no memory of its previous life nor a true reason to support its rage. This only fueled their frustration. They craved destruction and destruction alone…and their hunger for death will be sated…
