Biography

By far one of the most unexpected additions to the clan.
Nobody thought we'd be getting a gardener... or needed one for that matter.
Geos grew up as a very reserved and grumpy dragon. He would retreat to the bamboo groves to wander about instead of playing or socialising with other hatchlings. It comes as no surprise that today, he knows the lands better than anyone. Eventually, other dragons of the clan discovered plants he'd grown, and a whole section of clearing he'd transformed into a botanical garden.
Encouraged by his clanmates' reactions, he went on to bring his grumpiness outside the grove.
You'll find the clan's territories to be well kept with astonishing plants of all sorts. It's really quite charming to have a wander here.

Somewhere along the line, Geos wanted to grow more diverse and exotic plants... The kind you would never find on the Windswept Plateau. So he endeavoured to make glass greenhouses, huddled away in the bamboo groves. It's working great for the plants that need more warmth, or water, shade, light... But what about those from the colder climates?
Well... he's still working on that. He has come to the conclusion that he will eventually have to talk to other dragons to help him on this project. Namely... arcanists and ice-magic dragons. He really just hasn't come around to that yet (yes, socialising still makes him nervous as an adult).

Another point that makes him nervous about interactions, is his difference in tastes. He likes things bitter. Almost unbearably bitter. You'll often find him chewing on a root (we never dared to ask which one), but the smell alone is enough to wonder if his taste buds haven't disappeared along the way...

He's constantly dirty. His body being brown to begin with, hides the dirt patches quite well, but get close enough and...well it's hard to miss. He seems to have lichen growing through his mane too... We tried pointing it out, to no avail. The fur on his legs has matted to dense vines, and the end of tail....looks like a bush. I-It's just a big sphere of plants, and we're pretty sure we saw thorns in there too...

The only one who seems brave enough to confront this taciturn personality, is Jadeite.
Little baby Jade marched right up to the messy tangle of fur and quite confidently proclaimed
Quote:
Your garden's bad
Geos had never been quite so irritated. But what are you going to do with a youngling, right?
Jade would spend most of her youth moving plants, getting rid of some and eventually, placing rocks. True to her origins, she began a fascinations for all sorts of rocks and minerals, and placed the nicest ones around the territory.
This back a forth between them created an ever-shifting "zen" garden.
Before then, Geos never let anyone inside his personal sphere. Jadeite just hadn't given him a choice really...

Ooh! I almost forgot! Don't tell him I said this... but if you're feeling really down, and even little Miko's haven isn't working for you, go for a wander in the bamboo groves. It's rare for you to find him, but don't worry he will find you. His isolation might be due to too much sensitivity, and more often than not he'll know just what to say or do to pick you up, console you, or put you on the right path for what you seek.
