Starhome is known for its dangerous and shady characters, which makes it a rough environment for hatchlings to grow up in. This requires extra care and training on the parent's part to ensure that their children are able to face whatever challenges the strands may throw at them, and Lumorn is a shining example of a moonlit fighter. She was always a courageous child, wanting to face things head-on and would solve things with her claws rather than her mind, so it was only natural that she would grow up to excel in combat.

Lumorn acts as both a protector and bounty hunter for her home village in starhome, being seen as a hero and celebrity to the locals. She can often be found patrolling the outskirts, training the hatchlings, or setting off on a hunt - this can either be food for her village or to eliminate any threats such as monsters or suspicious figures that lurk within the woods. She will often take bounties to get rid of pests or dangers that are plaguing her neighbors. The guardian tends to work alongside Melan, with Melan being the brains and Lumorn being the brawn. Although Lumorn is perfectly capable of fighting on her own, sometimes her foes are tricky enough that it requires the work of Melan's expansive knowledge and strategic thinking to get the job done. However, they're not just work partners, but also childhood friends. Lumorn is inseparabely close to the skydancer and will often hang out with her in her spare time, or even try to make chitchat in the middle of a fight. |

| Although Lumorn would never back down from a challenge, there is one exception to this, and that is the bounty on Ellis' head. Due to Lumorn knowing and being friends with the ridgeback before she had been cursedm she refuses to harm her out of respect for their past friendship. The hunter hopes that one day she'll be able to get her friend back, but the more lifeless Ellis becomes from her curse, the less likely she will meet a happy ending. Regardless, Lumorn is incredibly loyal and will keep her out of harms way, even with the looming possibility that her former friend will turn out to be the monster everyone else sees her as. |
