"Oh my back, my bones," Dustcloud complains as she twists through the garden. "Oh, it hurts to be so old and decrepit, you know?"
Meringue gives her the flattest look (subtly sliding a bunch of carrots into his bag when she isn't looking). "I'm older than you."
"So old!" Dustcloud writhes dramatically, throwing her head back and pressing her hands to her spine. "Ah, these old bones aren't what they used to be--"
"You're in the prime of your life!"
"I miss my youth," she whispers as she wipes an imaginary tear from her eye. "Come, October, help me with this harvest. You're still young."
October rolls her eyes - though nobody can tell, with the light shining from them. "I'm older than both of you," she mutters as she gets up and starts pulling up roots.
