Described by his peers as an old fool, no one really paid attention to his findings. No matter how many times he divined the beginning of the end, they dismissed him entirely. There was absolutely no way that the old man could know the end of times before other soothsayers in his circle. He wasn't practiced enough. He wasn't serious enough. Unfortunately, he was accurate enough. The sky had broken overhead, and revealed REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED.

In preparation, Onji took a pupil to teach him what he knew - to get him ready to fight until the bitter end and hopefully make it out the other side, just like the Valkyries before him. Their group blossomed from two to five, and in the process, found a sponsorship. The only request from the sponsor was to remain on the premises unless otherwise granted permission.
