A humble harvester of poisonous herbs, flowers and plants, Hyssop has developed immunity to the hazardous defenses of various Sornieth flora. After spending centuries gathering and collecting these dangerous plants, Hyssop’s collection culminated into a massive collection housed in his own atrium garden known as “Isaflora”. This immunity; however, has its shortcomings. As a flaw in his own defense, Hyssop is unable to touch anyone because his scales are laced with the toxins of his own harvest. And misery loves company, so one would assume that Hyssop’s condition is hereditary, meaning the many cousins of Hyssop sprawled throughout the houses of the clan are armed with variations of his immunity curse…. Hyssop (Marjoram) Leviticus 14:52
During Passover a branch of hyssop held the blood of a lamb which was to be sprinkled on the lintel of the door and its posts. The hairy stems are broom-like. In warm climates it is a 12 inch perennial found growing on rocky dry soil. It can be planted by seed in temperate climates as it will not survive a hard freeze. It is also known as the herb marjoram and can be dried for use as a longer lasting spice
