...A sleeping god lays still, dormant. His rows of pink cherubs form blushes upon his cheeks, but be not deceived, for his eyes of fury are merely hidden. Though the huntsman's claws that he bears are still gleaming white, be not deceived, the gentle god is [...]. "

The passage I have recorded above was found, as the poem states, under a "canopy of trees". Rose pink in colour with only minimal flickers of sunlight reaching through. I strongly believe this to be Avarice, a god of duplicity, given that this is where his followers used to pray. - THE TRAVELLER'S JOURNAL
