Shishi is as still as a stone.
It might be made of stone, for all we know.

Sometimes it's a she, but it's always an it.
And it's always a Shi...shi. Heheh.

Shishi's job is as a guardian of the Breezebow shrine. It's unclear if it's an imperial, or a statue enchanted with plague magic made to look like an imperial. It only concerns itself with the business of protecting the shrine.

It's wary of strangers, but extends a warmth and care towards the residents of the shrine. It allows Solaris to say his nightly prayers while resting on its front paws. It does not balk at Delphi's oracles.
It leads Nightwisp to his quarters come morning.

Though nobody quite knows what it is, it is a protector, and it will lay its life down for the safety of the shrine.
