Chief Excavator

Carom joined the clan early. The clan was growing quickly and was in desperate need of help to clear more space. When Carom joined, excavations were behind schedule, and several nests were ready to hatch. With his help, everything got back on track, and the clan has never since struggled with the logistical complications to lair expansion (just the financial ones).

In addition to helping with excavating space, Caron is also in charge of the clan's digging expeditions. Unlike some of the other gathering discipline leaders who have specific teams of gatherers, Carom doesn't lead a specific team of diggers. He's willing to take any clanmember digging, so long as they're in the mood to work hard and get their claws dirty.

At one point, he briefly left the clan to help with excavations at a fledgling Wind-flight clan, the home to his daughter Puddle. Before too long, he returned home to Siren's Sound, eager to be back with his family.

Carom has been a rather prolific father. He is a member of a romantic triad with Aurica, and Etude. Two of the hatchlings from his first nest with Etude and one from his first nest with Aurica went to join newly formed clans and help them build up their foundations. He also nested during his time with the Wind-flight clan, and his two Mirror daughters still reside there with their half-sister. Carom and Aurica's daughters Grenada and Mila, an apprentice herbalist, still reside with the clan.
