 Bigtop was hatched in the Starfall Isles during Night of the Nocturne. He was, of course, initially a Nocturne, but from a young age he idolized Jarick, and wanted to be just like him... to the point of even wanting to join Jelionas' circus as well! He received his breed change with great excitement, because now he was big enough to put on amazing feats of strength (even if he wasn't quite as large as Jarick).

His spirit and wit are a delight for the younger dragons especially, though he can be a bit of a bad influence by times. Bigtop doesn't just lift heavy things, he also acts as a prop or a piece of stage equipment when necessary, his size making him extremely useful for such things. He has even sheltered the smaller dragons from a sudden downpour using his impressive wingspan, and he jokes often that he's actually a sentient circus tent, which earned him his name.
