Sylaise's (Pronounced Sigh-Layse) origins are unknown. It's believed she originated from a clan from within the Shadow territory however, given the odd mask she is always seen wearing it is completely unconfirmed. Sylaise is known to always refuse to take her mask off. She wears odd spectral clothing that appears to glisten like stars. Sylaise is very quiet, mildly tempered at times though very distant and cold towards others.

Sylaise seems to only ever speak to Cybele and occasionally Tartarus although the two dragons refuse to even mention what they've been told. Sylaise prefers to keep to herself, sometimes speaking to herself in the third person or acting "out of body." It's strongly believed she has dual personalities or maybe, she has something that goes with her wherever she goes. Sylaise appears to be some form of oracle or powerful magic user with a deep connection to the spirit world, given her interesting choice of clothing it could be either one honestly. Cybele has seem to take a particular interest in the dragon though it appears even Cybele feels uncomfortable in the presence of Sylaise. Sylaise gives off a rather foreboding aura of dread, misery and anxiety, making many of the other dragons avoid going near her den.
