Irene is perhaps one of the most well-known dragons in the Abyssal Republic. Her wines are popular all throughout the city, and even beyond it. It is not uncommon for her wines to get shipped out to other locations around Sornieth, and her business even brings tourists to the Republic. Irene is always throwing parties at her home, inviting anyone who desires a taste of her wines and a sweet night to her estate. Irene enjoys flirting with visitors and talking the night away with strangers. When she is not the one throwing the party, she's being invited to one and you can count on her arrival. Irene will always bring a bottle of one of her famous wines "just in case that party doesn't have any."
Few are aware, and even fewer will admit, that Irene is wealthy for more reasons than just the wine. It has been a rumor for ages that Irene is a skilled poison maker, and it has never once been proven. There are only a few individuals who know of this business and the specific method of contacting and ordering the poisons. Irene is quite skilled with this job, and even has multiple methods for hiding the poison, which she often recommends to customers. Sometimes, she is even paid to do the poisoning herself. Any type of poison you want, Irene can make. It helps that so few dragons would ever expect Irene to be the type of dragon to secretly be making poisons.
Both of her careers have gained her strange friends in even stranger places. Only a select few dragons have connected the frequent arrival of a group of unusually amiable pirates to Irene.
