• After he left his parents to find his own way in life, he bounced around the continent for a few years before settling in Starvale.
• His childhood friend, Khurel Bluesteel, decided to join him when he left. They're brothers in all but blood, and often wingman for each other at taverns and bars.
• His first friend in town was Mramza, who he met at the tavern after one of Mramza's shows. Khurel had pointed out the the flamboyant obelisk to him, and Tordin, who was definitely buzzed at that point, immediately started flirting with Mramza.
• Mramza found his drunken flirting cute, and adored how his eyes went all wide when he showed off some simple party trick spells.
• They quickly became best friends, and Mramza decided to stay in town just for him. The two fell in love from there, and have been going steady for 2 years.
• For a job, Tordin decided to become an odd mix of merchant and privateer, normally just doing business runs from Arcane, up through Wind and Water, and turning back around after some stops in Nature. When he's privateering, he's usually sent after merchant ships from the nearby town of Starveil, whom Starvale has a decades long rivalry with over their names.
• Tordin sends letters to his family back home at Singer's Brook, and visits when he's close enough on his trade route.

Tordin's Primary Route
Round trip time: approx. 6 - 8 months, depending on weather, battles, etc.
Begins on March 1, ends between Sept. and Nov.
Jan. & Feb. are strict shore leave at Starvale.

1: Start at Starvale.
2: Make way to beginning of Reedcliff Ascent.
3: Make way through rivers in Reedcliff, brief stop at Singer's Brook outlet.
4: Enter the Sea of a Thousand Currents.
5: Proper stop at Churnscar Warf.
6: Second stop at Flotsam Town.
7: Enter river near Driftwood Drag.
8: Go up river through Shadow territory, smaller stops along way.
9: Exit Shadow river and dock at a town near Everbloom Gardens. 2 weeks shore leave.
10: Repeat backwards to return to Starvale.
