"Can you hear it? The voices... my power is growing!"

Mumbling to himself behind four enchanted prison walls. How did it ever come to this?

Younger brother of Aeliana, the two were orphaned at a young age and were left to survive in the slums of Cinderslag by dirty methods. This involved thievery and suave scamming. While Hesperos was born with a set of natural charm and acting skills, it was mostly Aeliana's responsibility to keep them alive and if possible, out of trouble.

Hesperos always looked up to his sister and aspired to be like her. However, he could never quite keep up with her when it came to physical strength and reflexes, as he was deemed to be "the runt of the litter" by anyone who saw him alongside his well developed and strongly built sister. Having heard these mean comments and comparisons his entire life, Hesperos grew increasingly more self-conscious and started pushing himself into more and more trouble, only wanting to prove to the world that he could be just as powerful.

Because of his recklessness, the duo's life got turned for the worse. After one failed gig near Shoredeep Presage, the two were captured by a ship of shady, well feared pirates. Planned to be sold off to slavery, the two were fortunately rescued by the guards at Lanternlea Port. Due to them still being adolescents, Lightweaver's domain gave the siblings a chance to redeem themselves, a chance at life.

As Aeliana took this opportunity to become the youngest dragon to train under the guard program, Hesperos' insecurities only grew stronger. He felt like he had no purpose, being once again a shadow of his sister's success. Eventually, this growing jealousy and feeling of worthlessness drove him to seek for different kind of "powers", powers that could not only match his sister, but to outperform her. This was when Hesperos came across Holokai, who in turn sold him an ancient artifact. It wasn't cheap and most certainly not legal, but the sleek salesman promised him "greatness" if he only managed to crack the artifact correctly and absorb its' power.

Well, after many sleepless nights, he did. An ancient spirit, rumored to have assembled from old Arcane grounds merged itself with Hesperos. At first, it was euphoric, something far greater than he could've ever asked for. Being able to lift buildings with the sheer power of his mind and cast spells both resembling his own element and arcane magic made him quite famous around the town. He was finally recognized as the hero he always wanted to be.

But unfortunately, it didn't last. Over the time, the power wielded within the artifact turned out to be far greater than the young spiral could handle. Both his personality and mannerisms started to change and Aeliana was the first dragon to notice. She tried to warn him that the powers were evil and that they had to get rid of them or something terrible would happen. Still, fielded with personal gripe and envy towards his sister, he dismissed her words, much to his dismay. On one fateful evening, Hesperos' mind was corrupted and his powers grew out of control. With glowing, malicious eyes, he became destructive. Crushing down buildings and harming anyone in his reach with an almost primal instinct for chaos and bloodshed. He was only overpowered by Kesmon, who captured him and cast a protective barrier around his dungeon.

Monitored by the guards around the castle, barely anything resembling his old soul remains inside of Hesperos. He's constantly casting destructive and strange spells around his own cell, laughing maniacally and taunting the prison guards with harsh, strange words. Kesmon's barrier is the only thing protecting the outside world from his dangerous magic.
Nobody quite knows how to cure him, or if he can even be cured. However, Aeliana still believes his brother is somewhere in there, fighting the corruption that took his body over.

Perhaps one day, she'll see her real brother again.
