Challenger

Descending from a different clan, Challenger arrived to the clan a prestigious and hard headed youth. Always getting into petty fights and quarrels with the native dragon folk along the reef. As he grew older, his daily combativeness turned to possessiveness and pride. He grew deep connections to those he's bested and is wildly protective of them. Challenger, as he affectionally calls himself, wanders the boundaries of the Reef, ensuring no-one can harm the folk he considers his own to protect. Challenger has many awards of honor, despite blatant brutality towards unsuspecting visitors or trespassers. He is upon every fight scene and encounter. He has played huge part of many territory wars and attacks, boasting a huge amount of tactical ability which has proved him as the fiercest protector through the streets.

Challenger is brash and violent, doesn't take kindly to being lead or ruled. The Tidelord pays him no mind, neither does Challenger. To those who have been beat in daily challenges or submitted, he is very quiet and nonreactive. He interacts positively all around. Merchants hold him in high esteem and feel indebted to him due to Challenger subduing many thieves that were up for a duel. He has only been bested in combat once, he went back and took his skull as a memory.

He is most vulnerable around Aneneowave, a calm nomad in the Reef. They share a very pure and youthful relationship. It is Challenger's only relationship that is considered equal in nature: aggression, fear, or submission are not emotions used in this interaction.
