To compensate for the anti-life environment that is plagued by the too dry dirt of Roost's Edge, Arian thought to build a greenhouse to harbor some crops and plants in their depressingly barren town. While his mate, Zokt, favored to develop crops that could survive in their harsh conditions(and they have had plenty arguments about who's solution is better), the community greenhouse was still built. Because at least the greenhouse can house crops to begin with, Arian argues. Although the greenhouse is free for anyone to use, it's mainly Arian and Zokt cultivating plants in there at any time; mostly because most residents don't have an understanding of farming or agriculture.

While Arian and Zokt may have their disputes about the agricultural state of Roost's Edge, they're still ultimately each other's best friend and most trusted companion. Zokt will usually have made an extra plate of dinner for Arian ready for when he comes home late from the greenhouse.

Zokt and Arian decided to get little pets one day to help them on their farm; Tori is Arian's chinchilla. Small and shrewd, Tori usually helps Arian collect fruits up in trees or deep within bushes that Arian himself couldn't get. Although Tori usually likes to snatch a berry or two for herself to enjoy.
