Leo was born to a small but colorful and greatly diverse clan near the Lightning Farm in lightning's domain. Raised in high, screaming winds, broken only by the roaring clamor of thunder and the crackle of lightning, she became an expert in the field of flight, her breed's natural love of wind and open air carrying her high into the skies, twisting and twirling like some brilliantly blue kite. It was only shortly after she reached adulthood that the pull to travel met her, and she soon left her home clan, travelling Sornieth to enjoy all her wonders. She sang with Banescales and Coatls in the Ashfall Wastes, conversed with fluttering Fae in the Starwood Strand, ran and ate with Mirrors in the Abiding Boneyard, and burrowed with Ridgebacks in the Highland Scrub. Visiting each flight's domain showed her the beauty and diversity of the world she lived in, making friends, gaining wisdom, and finding short-term lovers along the way. By the end of her journey, as she finally settled down in the Highland Scrub of her homeland, burrowing away at a new lair of her own to settle, she thought about how much joy her travels brought her, and how much joy she could bring her own hatchlings by instilling her free spirit within them, urging them to see the world...
