Foxglove had been brought to the clan as an abandoned hatchling when Nim had found him out alone in the wilds while hunting insects, and couldn't resist the pull of his bright green eyes or the playful noises he made as he wound circles through her legs.

He was raised chiefly by Dew, who had been inexplicably charmed when he saw the hatchling chewing on the bright pink gems coating his body. However, playful, adorable, friendly, sweet, and ever so slightly mischievous, Foxglove was adored by all in the clan.

His silliness has carried over into his young adulthood, as has his charm, now inhued with a natural sense of flirtatiousness. So natural in fact, that sometimes he doesn't even realize he's doing it until he's got a strange dragon all over him and he needs to make a quick escape, much to Gemma's raucous amusement. He remains the lairs golden boy to this day.

His best friend, and favorite dragon in the lair, though nobody would expect it, is Gemma. Soft, thoughtful, bookish Gemma, wildly smart with a wicked sense of humor. They practically grew up together, and are the best of friends. He brings out her fun side and her sense of mischief, while she keeps his in check when he edges close to stepping too far.

He also finds her quite beautiful, and catches himself staring more and more frequently these days. He finds himself dreading the day the she reaches breeding maturity before he does, although he hasn't quite figured out why. (The rest of the clan thinks he needs to pull his head out front under his tail and realize he loves her but that's really not their business now is it?)
