Biography
From Ghostiex
Lost beneath a cave as a hatchling, abandoned and lost. Fell into the cave where something lurks, something not to be disturbed.
SOME PARTS MAY BE DISTURBING
Her parents didn’t MEAN to have an egg. It was an accident. They were so still so young. They were afraid of people finding out. They went to a cave and told everyone that they wanted to go on a prolonged adventure with her boyfriend. Off they went and finally produced one egg. Just one egg. All that trouble and pain…..JUST ONE. Anger seethed through the two. But a tiny bit of guilt still seeped though their anger. It was their fault for producing her…oh it was a her. Anyways, the tiny bit of guilt stayed with them so they decided to wait until she hatched and made sure she was healthy and left her to survive on her own. Not ideal parents, they get it but no one could have expected great happy perfect families from dragon parents no less. They both came from strict parents and were left to fend for themselves most times. If she came back with a dragonet, her parents would murder her. No no, a dragon instinct is a strong, all we can do it hope. Maybe one day they will see her prospering. Maybe maybe.
So she was hatched. She was….beautiful.. Her mother. Her mother always whispered one word to her. Azure. It was her favorite color. She hoped if she kept repeating that word, her hatchling will somehow remember and if she got through her hatchling stages, maybe she could recall that word. Maybe she’ll remember that word and make it her name. Maybe maybe. So many maybes in the few minutes before their parting………..the time came. They had to go. Their parents had tears growing. Her hatchling was sleeping. Maybe she would wonder why they weren’t there.
She woke up. Darkness….no she just didn’t open her eyes yet. Silly her. Would her mother continue to repeat that word to her? She looked around. Her parents were not there. She thought all the “maybes” but deep down she knew what happened. Her brain. It was working faster than most normal dragonets. She walked down the cave. She fell…..so many things happened at once. No, no no no, too fast! She fell into a pit, it was soft?! She stirred and rolled over to face who she fell on. A transparent animal. She couldn't recognize it. The animal snarled at her. The strange animal seemed to hate dragons? She saw the scars on them, she realized. The hate went deeper than usual. She backed away. Her wings were ready for flight yet. The animal started chanting. She felt pain. So much pain. She screamed. Pain pain pain. She panted and tried to run. Her eyes were blinded. She felt something crawling over her. Like a sickness, she just ran and ran until she bumped into something. No, someONE, a transparent dragon. Huh seemed similar. The animal caught up to her, and exchanged a few growls and snarls from the dragon. The animal shook in frustration but also defeat. She could barely see but she could hear. The dragon was majestic. The dragon cooed and said, I’m sorry about him. He has a strange hate for dragons. Especially you skydancers. She tilted her head at the transparent dragon. He fixed her eyes and stopped the poison but the scars will always remain. I will join you on your journey, it’s my fault I did not notice you falling and “him” chanting. She thought that it was strange for him to feel bad for something that didn’t concern him. But she was glad to have a companion. The dragon gave her a strange pouch, I can go inside and go out of this. I will protect you. I have been waiting for my purpose, maybe this is mine.
A few years later, she found a lair. The lair of Mirb700. She heard about it from passing travelers. Apparently they accepted dragons and familiars and anyone who didn’t have a home or didn’t belong somewhere. She stepped inside. She was immediately greeted and took to the leader. The second in command. Mirb was the true god and queen but Silver (https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/78310511) took care of the lair just as much. She explained everything to her and welcomed her. She adjusted quickly and met everyone. It was a small lair, not as chaotic. She liked that. She explained her story to everyone. They asked for her name, she told them……my name is “[Azure/b] She smiled softly. Maybe one day she’ll find her mother and father. But for now, she has a home and forever will it be her home. :)
