Projects Director / 3rd Council Member / Magical Theorist

Aestas is the 3rd Council Member and Pleiades' projects director. Aestas often works closely with Styrka as a magical theorist. All prospective studies and experiments must gain his approval first, even Styrka must consult with him before proceeding. Although Aestas himself can only cast minor spells, he has a sharp mind and vast understanding of magic and has designed and created many spells himself.

Aestas is calm and reserved where Styrka is fiery and passionate. He can, however, be impulsive and curious, a trait he claims to have originated by spending too much time with Arcane dragons. Unlike most skydancers, rather than sensing the emotions of others, he projects his own onto others.

This peculiarity got him into trouble in his original clan when he was young, as he would babble his thoughts and those of others constantly, all the while projecting his emotions to anything in the immediate vicinity. In the Wasteland, most successful hunts are achieved by ambush. After months of going with little to no food, Aestas' clan cut out his tongue and drove him from the clan. Because of this Aestas has always had terrible anxiety and is always bundled up, no matter the weather.

Aestas is Undae's oldest friend. They met when they were both young and wandered the Scarred Wasteland for some time until an accident that left him unable to use magic. The two fled to the Starfall Isles in search of a healer and found Styrka, who managed to unblock Aestas' mana. To this day however, Aestas has a weak disposition and cannot cast major spells.

Currently, Aestas frequently travels between the Crystalspine Reaches and the Sea of a Thousand Currents to attend to his duties while still supporting his friends.
