the more important bugs of hallownest are, generally speaking, based on real life bugs. Nailsmith is a rhinoceros beetle, Ogrim is a dungbeetle, Radiance is a moth, Herrah is a spider in name only, etc. but you know what I think the wyrms are? centipedes. they're centipedes. think about it. i mean, they're sure larger than caterpillars, as Bardoon comments, and those of the Scolopendra genus in particular are HUGE. i don't think i've ever seen anyone make that comparison in the 5 years this game has been out
