Born on the shortest day of the year, the first of Bewitch’s hatchlings, the first of her lineage, and the first of her colors to be born from a wayward egg and not a nest. Her eyes shone icy, standing out in stark contrast to her dark face and wings. Cold power radiated from them, and she looked around, even as she was still shaking eggshells off her wings, with intelligence and wonder. Taking in everything around her. Bewitch, solidly in their female form, sat in front of the hatchling, and nuzzled her with their nose. The hatchling stared up at the giant Obelisk, but didn’t seem afraid. Simply… curious. Her tiny head cocked to one side, and she gave one last great shake of her wings to release them from the lingering eggshell pieces. She was born a Nocturne, on the shortest day of the year, the first of Bewitch’s hatchlings. And in this little tiny dragon, Bewitch saw the future.
