Biography
Aenon looks to his offspring, all so tiny before him. His soft spines ripple in the light current, swaying back and forth as he can't help but move side to side in the water. He says nothing for a long moment, and then nods. The countless Veilspun before him cheer, and pad to the surface of the water, follwed by a massive, antlered head and a long sinuous body not unlike his own, save for the darker coloration and the sharp, venomous spines around the throat. As Aenon watches the squad leave, he turns to a Skydancer who swims up awkwardly. "Hullo Bath. What might ever be the reason for a visit from one so esteemed as you?"
The Skydancer stiffens, starred blue feathers puffing up in indignation. "I do believe I've made it quite clear that I will be referred to by my full name only, Undertide. Halloween has been seen skulking around the edges of the Shadow border. Leech has been sighted once as well." Bathypelagic's sour demeanor leaves as they report the scout's findings, and it returns equally as fast once they are done.
Aenon blinks, and lets out a bark of laughter that knocks Bathypelagic balance off, sending them tumbling back through the water. "And here I thought Leech was a master tactician. What in the name of The Eleven do they think they're doin?"
Bathypelagic sneers, but regains their composure quickly. "I'd be careful about underestimating my enemies Undertide. You may be big now, but you are not invincible." And then the Skydancer takes their leave. Leaving the large, blue wyrm to his own mind.
His favorite food is seabed pincer and sour spinach pie.
