★★★ BIO The Star Wood Strand is a hub for unexplained phenomena, the Perditus Clan is a strange group, and Forbes is a dragon with an obsession with all things out of the ordinary. While he spends most of his time traveling Sornieth helping investigate paranormal events, he always makes his way back to Perditus for short vacations and low stakes adventures. Forbes is a calm, collected, and calculating Nocturne, and always willing to lend a claw to someone in need. He’s also secretive and elusive, preferring not to be sought out, and will often grow cold and stand offish if confronted by anyone who spent any notable amount of effort tracking him down. This may be why he likes Perditus as well as he does, given that their location buried deep in a cave system in the Strand makes them almost impossible to find by outsiders, and the tainted histories of most of the members has resulted in an unspoken “no questions asked” rule. Virtually no one (save a few Perditus Clan members) have ever seen him without his helmet. Within this minority is Perditus’ greatest mystery, Naida, an enigma that Forbes found himself unable to tear himself away from. This fascination eventually led to a blind crush, which then turned into dating after considerable confusion on Forbes and Nadia’s parts and some prompting from the rest of the Perditus dragons. The concept of love had not previously been in Forbes’ vocabulary. |
