Sieghilde is the head healer of Clan Vogelzang, putting her in charge of the clan's infirmary in addition to her duties as one of the clan's co-leaders. From a young age, Sieghilde found that she would rather study diseases and ailments than cure them, but quickly discovered that most dragons were adverse to dying of disease for the sake of science. So, in order to fuel her interest, the Coatl began to study the art of healing. Soon, she was able to get up close and personal various diseases that plagued dragonkind, and when that became boring as well, she became obsessed with formulating remedies to cure them. These fine tuned concoctions line every shelf of the infirmary, from fast acting creams to heal blisters to experimental elixirs to aid in the removal of gembond. Any questions about the origin of some of her cures, however, are answered with a soft snort and dismissing hand gestures. Before arriving at the clan, Sieghilde was an accomplished traveling healer, and what she lacked in empathy and concern, she made up for with years of experience under her wings. This does nothing to comfort any clan member that ends up in her infirmary. Sieghilde's feel good methods are often unorthodox and less than gentle, and she's almost always unnervingly cheerful despite the circumstances. Luckily, as if to counteract this, her magic always proves itself to be extremely powerful, and her remedies are extremely effective due to constant use and refining. Sieghilde is also very fond of birds. The flocks that frequent the lair as a nesting area are friendly towards her and can be seen perching on or near the infirmary. Her favorites are kept in cages inside the building, filling it with song during the day. |
