Sabrina

Sabrina Spellman found herself in a strange world, a gray world. It had neither beginning nor end and she cast her gaze aside, hoping to at least find her familiar here. Yet Salem was nowhere to be seen and apprehension grew with each step she took. Goosebumps arose on her arms and she fought the urge to call out for her aunts. She was stronger than that. She didn't need her aunts to baby her. She was sixteen, after all.

Yet the reminder of her age did nothing to mollify her. She cast her gaze about again and this time, heard ominous clopping behind her. Yet when she spun about, she remained alone. Perplexed and disturbed, she held up her hand and it glowed with as yet unreleased magic.

"I don't know who's there, but I'm warning you," she said in what she hoped was a sufficiently frightening tone. "I'm a witch."

The noise halted and then a figure appeared out of the mist surrounding her. The bland, featureless plain remained so, save for the figure staring back at her. The figure bore her face and when it smiled, Sabrina knew nothing good could come of it. Chills ran down her spine, but that was the only thing that was running. She stood her ground.

"Who are you?" she demanded.

The creature standing before her looked exactly like her, save for the cloven hooves. She cocked her head at Sabrina and smiled, though there was nothing affectionate or cheery in her expression.

"Don't you know, Sabrina?" the figure said in a lilting voice. "I'm you."
