Dragon Sky Fandragon

______ Once a glorious, shining, beacon of faith, Asazel is now a mere shell of what she once was. Her faith and beliefs in an existence beyond that of our own world led her to leave behind the world she protected and that loved and worshipped her. She was convinced that she could find this existence she believed so strongly in, and for many years she wandered in search of it, but found nothing. In the end, she returned home, heartbroken. However, when she returned, those she had once defended no longer worshipped her, having lost their faith when she abandoned them. The guardian of faith itself had failed her duty, having sacrificed her purpose for the sake of her own faith.

______ Over time, her body slowly withered away, her once beautiful skin and feathers falling and melting away until all that remained was a blackened skeleton like the remnants of her shattered faith. She believed this to be the doing of a divine power, perhaps the one she had believed in; punishing her for her transgressions. With no purpose left to serve, she began a new journey, searching to earn back the faith of those she had loved.
