Biography

Within a secluded island, referred to as Haven by its residents and The Isle of Mangoes by everyone else, a handful of dragons lived in relative peace, until a catastrophic storm ravaged the area, and in an effort to save their offspring, the parents of nests left their eggs and hatchlings where they believed to be the safest: a tiny crevice in which only eggs and the smallest of dragons could fit. Many died that day, and once the tempest had calmed, only an extremely small population of dragons remained, almost all of them immature.

The Wanderlust lineage started out as explorers and gatherers of information and rare materials. However, as time went on and their social standing grew, they became closer to collectors of artifacts and stayed in the protection of the island, instead commissioning other lineages to find things and explore for them. They were wealthy, but to keep their status, they tried to hide their wealth. They are conditional and only adopt a dragon in if they retain the "regality" the lineage is said to have. The one who decides if a dragon makes the cut is the richest of the lineage.

Gallentia was popular in her lineage because of her unique scales and flashy way of flying, so she was pampered by many of her relatives. However, she was fascinated with her lineage's history and would often ask to explore, only to be shut down by her relatives to protect her. When the tempest came, she was able to find it in herself to begin exploring like she wanted, but she has a bad sense of direction so she tries to bring a partner with her every time she goes. Still, her eyesight is one of the best on the island, so every one of her expeditions turn up fruitful in some way.

Milyst often joins her so that they can explore together. Milyst relies of Gallentia's eyesight while Gallentia relies on Milyst's sense of direction. Any artifacts or new areas or new food sources are often found by them. Gallentia will often go from place to place, partially because she gets lost so often and partially because she's eager to meet everyone her family "protected" her from. She's by no means especially street smart, but she's eager to learn and is doing so very fast.
