All faeries are greedy, but the Autumn Court is the most greedy of them all...

Gluttonous and decadent, the Autumn Court fae gorge themselves on the harvest's riches. Be warned, though: one taste of their food, and you will never be able to leave. The Autumn Court is most well known for granting questing dragons prosperity, but only if they can be convinced to part with it. Oren was born to the autumn fae Aoibbell and her undead consort, the Black Knight. Even among the fae, Aoibbell's children are more haunted and peculiar, often clinging to the edges of the court and only making appearances during their familial hunts. It is said that they span the realms of life and death: their skeletal forms always hunger for what they cannot taste, and they are tied to the Autumn Court through their father's promised soul, no matter how far they might wander.

Oren is the youngest and gentlest of his siblings, a desolate creature who has taken his mother's penchant for music. In lieu of the harp he plays a tall, oaken cello, and is most often found by his lonesome bowing his songs to stir the dead. It is said that he only can be found on those nights when the boundaries of the afterlife quiver: on full moons, foggy nights, and Wild Hunts. While Oren has found his purpose in raising the lost and watching them dance out their memories, he appears to be largely indifferent to the plight of those lost in the fae realm. He was raised in the cruel mercies of the fae, and owes nothing more to the land of the mortals.
