Kim gulped as she stared down the gaping maw of the Wormwound. She would rather die than become one of the Organization's pet experiments.

She looked back at the small army of dragons tailing her and back to the infected hole in the ground before breathing in sharply and taking a big leap.

Kim's heart stopped for a moment before restarting on overdrive. The Wormound's juices stung her eyes as they flew open wide.

The first thing she felt was pain as her own body turned on itself. She could feel herself shrinking as another head and tail sprouted from her neck and backside. Eventually, Kim began to be able to make out the sounds of another consciousness pushing on her own. She opened her mental gates wide to the new presence.

Her head grew aflurry with action as a new mind formed with the help of her memories and experiences. She heard another, higher-pitched voice speak in her mind, "Kimmy, I'm scared. It hurts."

Kim responded, "it's okay honey, it will be over soon." Kim hoped the pain would end soon. She wasn't sure what exactly was happening, but she already felt more powerful.

"Honey? Is that my name?"

"I don't think you have a name yet, but Honey can be yours if you want."

"Yes, I would love that!"

Soon enough, the pain had stopped. The pair could hear other beings shifting around in the Wormwound, but revenge was more important to them. They flapped their wings in tandem and slowly, ominously rose out of the Wormwound.

With a few powerful strokes of their wings, Kim and Honey caught up with the retreating members of the Organization. Honey sliced into them with their claws and bit them with their razor-sharp teeth. Kim focused on the more magical attacks. She shot at the villains with water beams and powerful puffs of air. Taken by surprise, the small group was wiped out in no time.

Kim and Honey returned to the Wormwound and resubmerged themselves in the essence of plague and rot to recharge and evolve. They vowed to keep the area free of the Organization and help all who came their way.
