Graphene

Graphene is a headstrong and incredibly confident Fae, who worked formerly as a merchant's guard for-hire her entire life, only ever making enough to live until her next payment. One day, she was refused payment by a particularly nasty client, who was much larger and more deadly than she was. With no way to get back her money, and no way to support herself, Graphene fled into the nearest flight's territory, being the Lightning Flight. It was there that she stumbled upon a colony in the making that could promise her a roof over her head, and a safe place to stay for once. Though old habits die hard, and while Graphene was content in her new home, she was constantly feeling as if she were being too lazy, or that she needed something to fight. Cloudstrike, one of the colony founders seemed to notice this, and asked if she would like to take on the task of protecting one of the hatcheries. He explained that certain eggs had gone missing, and that they needed someone to watch over the hidden room. He assured her she would be paid for her troubles, and would have the colony's eternal gratitude if she managed to catch the thief. She quickly agreed and began her shift guarding a secret hatchery for the colony founders. Graphene soon became good friends with another Fae, a strange multi-eyed dragon by the name of "Gaze" who kept vigilance over the hatchery when she wasn't there. She is as enraged and horrified by the thief's antics as Gaze is, though she has no idea who it could be, and who would do such a thing as steal another's eggs.
