Biography

Fractal

Fractal blinks his many eyes as he emerges from his egg, the world around him harsh and overstimulating. The heavy magic in the air of Sanitatem weaves its way under his scales and into eyes, irritating him and causing his temper to flare, snapping and growling at his fellow hatchlings. Knowing that his son was not a violent dragon, Amaranth takes him aside and soothes his pain with his crooning voice and heady incense, and soon Fractal is a more peaceful dragon, often keeping many of his eyes closed to prevent irritation or infection. Wanting to learn about how his father soothed him so, Fractal takes up intense and exciting study of song and magic, and how the two intertwine to create something beautiful. There may be one day where Fractal opens his eyes with pride, but today is not that day.
