Biography
Within a secluded island, referred to as Haven by its residents and The Isle of Mangoes by everyone else, a handful of dragons lived in relative peace, until a catastrophic storm ravaged the area, and in an effort to save their offspring, the parents of nests left their eggs and hatchlings where they believed to be the safest: a tiny crevice in which only eggs and the smallest of dragons could fit. Many died that day, and once the tempest had calmed, only an extremely small population of dragons remained, almost all of them immature.
The Terra lineage, contrary to many, many stereotypes, does not actually focus their efforts into one area. The misconception comes from the fact that they are a pure lineage. However, the only reason for this is because of their status as a unique and revered breed of dragon. Most others understand this, but the stereotypes still follow them. The Terra lineage has taken up many trades but is master of none, associating most of all with other lineages, but it's common knowledge that the only way to get past the initial stereotypes is to allow one of the Terra descendants into your circle.
Oxio is almost a perfect representation of his lineage: eccentric, curious, aloof, and was somehow able to perfect a craft despite neither of his parents having anything to do with his chosen craft. He is one of the only dragons interested in and capable of metalwork. Not only that, but his mechanisms are a sight to behold. He's proud of his lineage and grateful to his parents for allowing him to pursue his chosen craft. That being said, after the tempest and realizing that he was the last remaining of his lineage, he poured himself into his work, always willing to talk about anything other than what he's really feeling.
Oxio knows just about everyone on Haven, but only has a very small handful (or clawful) of actually close friends. He finds it easiest to get along with Zurr and Queen, but they don't know how much he depends on them as friends. The reason for this is because, most of the time, he will talk constantly as a force of habit and coping mechanism. However, because Zurr and Queen don't respond as much as other dragons, Oxio will go on rambling about more and more personal things, unintentionally giving himself a way of dealing with at least some of his grief. Other than that, he's exclusively responsible for creation of technology on Haven and has obtained the respect of many other dragons because of his incredible contraptions.
