Chamomile

Chamomile has had quite a busy Christmas season. It was wonderful to be sure, but now she is ready to take some time for herself, to enjoy little pleasures and start the New Year with some quiet tyme.
On a gorgeous day, she takes to the sky, happy to have the wind beneath her wings, and freedom from obligations. After a while, she notices a colorful lair of silken tents below her, and banks for a landing. Her tummy is gurgling, and a cuppa warm tea would be heaven. Upon touching down, she looks around then spots a sign with a teapot on it and the word Chamomile's written on it. Perfect.
Inside, the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Not only was there the smell of delicious pastries and comfortable looking lounges and pillow puff, there were books everywhere! Another one of her favorite things. After ordering, she sits at a beautiful candlelit table, and examines the book upon it. Soon, she in engrossed. It is with surprise when she looks up to see a beautiful Obelisk bringing her tea and treats. Her fur shimmers with like a deep red night sky filled with glowing constellations, silken silver fur frames her face and comforting ruins of green embellish her gown.
" Here you are, my dear," crowns, sitting a gorgeous red teapot on the table along with a matching teacup. Bearclaws and tasty looking cupcakes waited upon the place. "I am so glad you chose chamomile tea to warm you on a chilly day. It's my specialty, of course."
Smiling at the dragon in front of her, the Ridgeback replied, "Well, it is my name so I am quite found of it."
A happy laugh came from the other dragon. "Quite a coincidence. So is mine."
"Then this is your shoppe. It is wonderful, so cozy and welcoming, and I love the books! It is a perfect place to escape from after a crazy past few weeks."
"I'm so glad you like. It's actually one of several. As a matter of fact, I am about to return to my shoppe at the Christmas Caraval. I think you would like it very much. Would you care to come and be my guest? I also serve the most decadent hot cocoa that even Nickoli adores."
"THE Nicoli? Head of the Kringle Klan, and the one who brings the magik of Christmas Caraval to life every year?"
"The very same. And now's the tyme when he and his beloved Merry take tyme to enjoy their endeavors so you may even get to meet him."
"I would like to come, if only to see more of you." Chamomile the Ridgeback felt drawn to Chamomile the Obelisk. She had no doubts they would grow to be great Friends, It was as if her soul leapt with Joy in the presence of the other. But I have been gone long today, and my mate will be missing me.
"Then tomorrow maybe. I shall make some of my favorite treats for you."
"i look forward to it! I have no doubts it will be the most magikal moments of my Christmas season!"
