Once upon a time, a lord fell for a prince of a neighboring kingdom. The prince danced with the fire of the lord, even going so far as to tell him they could be a forever, even if he had told him what he'd done.

But, corrupted by power, the prince sought his vengeance in the dead of night.

The lord's maiden, in anguish, came to him the next day, offering wellbeing in the shape of a banquet. The prince didn't know she knew- how could she? So he ate, and days passed. He began to change.

His scales changed. Morphed. The kingdom no longer knew who he was.

The maiden had known he exacted revenge on her lover, and in the light of a lone candle, whispered the curse to life.

Prince Evaryon was no more.

Yora is my name now, little whelp.
