Sage
Child at Heart

Everyone has an inner child. Sage’s inner child is more of an outer child.

As a hatchling, Sage loved hosting tea parties for her dollies. As she grew, Sage’s interests built upon and around this favored childhood pastime.

For example, Sage took up sewing when she was young so that she could repair her dollies and make them lovely new clothes. Her skills expanded with experience, of course, and she’s grown to become an accomplished seamstress, known particularly for her excellent embroidery work.

Sage also started a little windowsill garden when she was small. She grew mint and chamomiles and learned to dry them for her favorite teas. As time went on, her garden has creeped ever further out into the yard. It’s variety of herbs has also grown, to include lavender, rosemary, red currants, and more, from which Sage makes a wide selection of herbal tea blends that are very popular throughout Singer’s Brook.

Eventually, she even had an orangery constructed off the side of her garden tool shed, and began a small orchard of oranges, lemons, and persimmons. With this addition, she naturally branched out into baking delicious tea biscuits, as well. Blueberry, Lemon Poppyseed, and Orange Currant Scones are all fan favorites.

To this day, Sage still loves hosting tea parties. Once every month, she invites the entire clan round to tea. The tea and biscuits are on the house. But, if by chance you forgot your dolly at home, Sage has several newly made dollies for sale that you can choose from. 😉

……
Dozey will be in the corner sulking that there’s no coffee being served.
