 xxx Overview Erva's the town's main fisherman, occasionally being spotted having a younger generational dragon with him. Even though he's does the main fishing, it's not every day, all day since he is of an elder generation. He usually teaches the younger generation about his fishing technique and encouraging them to work on their own with his as the base. His temper tends to be short with more stubborn youngens but he always tries his best with them. Some say that Erva's a kind old soul but others say he's a rude old dragon who only cares for fishing. Every one of the dragons he has come across has their own interpretation of him and his work. He doesn't mind what they say as long as he can be able to teach fishing and having the respect others will have and not expect to receive. Other than being an old brewding dragon, he's a genuine sweetheart.. Despite what some will tell you about him and not to go near him at all.. |

Erva may not be considered kind to the more troublesome youth but he still cares for them just as anyone else would. He'll do what he can for every dragon he's met over the years within reason. Ember helps with fishing when she isn't working on sculptures and giving different facts on stones to those interested enough to learn. Both of them enjoy spending time with the other while working in their own professions. Its always a good time for them to talk about their kids and what they've been up to over the last few centuries. Erva enjoys the talk of his kids when he's starting to miss them and hope that they write more than they already do. When they do, he's over the moon with how well they have been doing since the last time they wrote. Though, four have stayed behind and help around town, the others have went off to take care of out of town business and have loving lives of their own. Between the work they're doing and raising little ones of their own, he enjoys the "sound" of things on their end. Sometimes he'll tried to persuade them to come visit everytime he writes back but to no avail. Erva doesn't mind so long as they continue to write him and the rest of the family that stayed in this sweet little town. He knows they care for their siblings that stayed behind but also know that sometimes it's best to take a long break from being around siblings for a while.
Erva and Ember enjoy listening to the crashing of waves when not busy with their jobs and not talking about life. Sometimes it's nice to sit next to someone you love, not doing anything but enjoying their presence in the moment. He'll have her favorite snacks when they decide to have a night of snuggling on the docks or beach side. For centuries to come, he and Ember shall thrive in the town, teaching all the new younglings that may come and go with the other elders in the den. His career intertwines with others here and there but most of the time it's on it's own. Erva's other den mates have always mocked him at the beginning of his career centuries ago but he didn't take it to heart. He worked hard to get where he is now and will only continue to fish for fresh techniques and new teachings. Some of the fish he has caught will go back into the ocean as not every fish is worth any coin or gem in his opinion. Erva doesn't mind that the yougins he teaches keep the fish for them to sell if they think that they're worth something for themselves. He's always told them that over fishing will cause a problem and that if one continues to fish, knowing that, then they don't care if there's no more fish to sell and eaten. Everyone in town respects his decisions on what to do with whatever fish he has caught, even if he has some questionable morals. Everything he's done up until now can be questionable to others but he doesn't care what they say. He'll do everything he can to make sure that the town has enough fish to have as a delicacy as well as keeping enough in the ocean to have for later. |

B I O G R A P H Y xxx Erva can enjoy looking out at the sea when he fishes as it gives a right kind of sparkle for him. That and all kinds of mystery fish deeper within the depths of it. Who knows what kind of life the ocean has? He's ok with the younger generations going in the depths of the ocean to find out what's deeper than the water clans have been. Erva can and will continue to provide what he can for everyone, despite how old and creaky his joints have been. Ember will occasionally help him with some things when he asks for the help but other than that, Erva does everything himself. From gathering materials for making a fishing rod to getting bait for the fish. He'll even make some different types of fish bait for different kinds of fish. On occasion he'll have offers being made on some of the big fish he's caught for a good fortune.. To which he'd decline and go off to a different clan for a better offer for himself and his family. |

xxx Erva prefers to have a good life for himself and his family with a very good nest egg for when something happens. He prefers to have his children to be in a good place treasure and gem wise due to knowing how hard it was to stay afloat. Three of his kids that stayed behind have taken up on starting to pack when they go to their new clans.. Erva may be sad to see them doing so but he understands that being in Oceanside port is not for every dragon that comes or have been raised here. He'll wish them well in their journeys to other places, whether it's temporary or permanent, when the time comes. Albeit, he'll miss them like he'll miss his other children but he hopes write to him and their mother when they get the chance to. He loves it when he is able to hear from all his kids when they're out and about. |

B I O G R A P H Y xxx Erva will write to them when he isn't busy either so they know he's alive and well. He'll talk about how much Ember's doing with her statue business and all the facts she's been telling 'n' learning each day. Every time she has a new fact, she'll eagerly tell him first like a child finding a cool looking leaf and wanting to show off to their guardian. Erva loves it when she does this as it helps calm her mind over the trivial things in life. One being that children come and go from the town as they please and hearing that her own will be residing in all corners of Sornieth.. Despite one staying behind due to being the local electrician, and without an electrician, there won't be any kind of electricity for the homes, the library and for the café. Both of them are proud that Hookskull has found something she enjoys doing. They know she'll continue to do a good job over the coming centuries. Erva will occasionally recommend both Ember and Hookskull when he's out selling his fish when he hears that others need a dragon for stone carving and for electricity. He's proud to have such a loving family, considering when he had first came here. |

xxx Despite everything though, Erva is grateful to have moved to this little port town and have made many friends here. Some of whom he considers to be chosen family outside of Ember and their children. He'll help out his chosen family whenever he can, sometimes even at the drop of a single straw of hay. He's not so bad once you get to know him really, like a giant teddy bear with a menacing face.. Or two faces for that matter considering he's got two heads. Erva doesn't mind that he'll get some strange looks when playing with children to an extant. The children will often call him a fossil with how much he creaks and groans about being too old for keeping up with the more energetic of the bunch. |
