Primrose

Primrose was borne from a thousand stars, shattering and forging the fragments into Primrose's egg. When he hatched, the light of stained glass from the Mitternacht Cathedral shone and imprinted onto his scales. Runes, signifying Primrose as a descendent from the Ruins of the Eclipse.

In the Mitternacht Cathedral, Primrose will grow up and be trained as a warden from the cathedral. It has always been the tradition for the Eclipse family for females to usually become prophets, and males, wardens.

The Eclipse family is the rule holder of the ancient cathedral where dragonets hatch and be trained for their jobs. The second-in-command family is the Starrunes. The Starrunes' lineage gene is the constellations, engraved into the descendents' scales and soul when hatched. This gift allows the gene-holders to be healed by the stars when exposed to the night sky, and the other rather rare ability is to rebirth from the stars if the dragon dies. The two families are absolute rivals and interfamily marriage is forbidden. Although Primrose's parents are from two different families, nobody ever seemed to notice Primrose's constellation as it wasn't as bright as the ones on other Starrune descendants.
