gotta do something with trail looking like eyes on her wings... major like. control by terror vibe with both that and her general looks. i love my edgy girl of war

blind berserker (effluvial)
-secreted from the claws and delivered by a puncture, leaving thin black smoke trails and a distinctly bittersweet smell.
-symptoms: enhanced strength, fever, dizziness, confusion. then, uncontrollable bloodlust.
-goads opponents into attacking with pretense, allowing a "pure fight."
-the greater the lifeforce of the victim, the stronger the disease is. healing potions worsen the disease's effects.
-rampages until their body succumbs from overexertion.
-effluvial crows are immune - can be used on any other crow. xolotl is immune due to a high effluvial bloodline.

xolotl uses this in conjuction with naomi's "exaltation," allowing for a population of dragons to become a mindless, berserking horde of basically zombies, hungry for combat and willing to follow naomi's command. a force to be reckoned with!

aerial ace (eboncrow)
-wings are a bit shorter, but more finely shaped than other crows.
-swifter and more agile in combat than other crows. makes them very formidable fighters and difficult to catch.
-few can outfly eboncrow wings in terms of speed and grace in flying. but without stamina, it's only a matter of time until they're caught up to.

i'd like to think she's got some kind of [shatter morale] in her. hell, maybe just her appearance eccentirifes those eye wings and scraes dragons without the use of crowy magic. hm...

shatter morale (effluvial crow only - xolotl may have a few of these traits from her effluvial blood.)
-effects only happen when the crow reveals the eye marking on their wings completely.
-effect is immediate. an overwhelming and raw change of pressure can be felt.
-it's hard to say if it's a change in one's perception or genuinely emitted from the crow. only shown to enemies or lovers.
-weaker dragons run at the sight, feeling oppressed by the "gaze." saves the crow the trouble of fighting through mobs or interruptions to find worthy opponents.
-exceptionally developed crows can deflect magical and physical projectiles with the wings. skilled users can even reflect projectiles to enemies or ricochet healing spells to their advantage.

relentless challenger (effluvial)
-"fight or flight" becomes "fight or fight."
-makes them dauntless in the face of danger, but it isn't blind foolishness. they adopt the persona of a true challenger ready to confront opponents - they are confident, never afraid.
-grants the ability to appropriately determine if an enemy is worth fighting.
-fear is rarely ever a consideration - when in danger, their minds are clear as day.

clawed connections (eboncrow)
-naturally good at making connections in any society
-rules and etiquette come easily to them (even if they dont think so)
-can naturally find a way to the black market or underworld ties.
-if there's a question needing an answer, they usually know who to ask.

this helped xolotl establish her old clan, who lochlen used to run with, before she split off to prove her power (and become even more powerful).
