Nocturnal
Guard
In another life, as she likes to say, Nocturnal was a thief. Her lean form allowed her to sneak into most anything and steal everything in sight. She was part of a guild deep in the Reedcliff Ascent that specialized in thievery for hire. The guild was called Windstealer and it utilized the teachings and skills inherently available in the Windsinger's domain, as many of the hatchlings born there are exceptionally proficient fliers and are well-known for a so-called 'silent flight' that was unique to the domain. Windstealer took in young hatchlings and taught them everything they needed to know about thievery. Spirals were especially desired due to their thin form and wriggly nature. Nocturnal was very good at her job and profited greatly from it. Only when the guild was caught and disbanded by the Windsinger's guards was Nocturnal fearful of her future. Those who knew her hated her, and those who didn't were wary. She had no one to turn to. Forras reached out, previous thief to previous thief, and insisted that she defend the den. Nocturnal was suspicious but, when promised a secure job and good pay as long as she didn't steal anything, she accepted the position.
Nocturnal is a cautious dragon, a very good quality for a guard. She is rather good at entertaining herself and is fully capable of standing still for hours. She does not have many friends due to her duties, but she likes it that way. Forras bonds with her occasionally and gifts her pieces of jewelry.
